A Savage Meeting – Pt. 3 – Stargazing

“Caleb?” Kaya called just above a whisper. She’d finally made it out of the house and to the meeting place. For a week the two had been meeting secretly at a park just outside of Shadowvale. It was just a half past midnight, she was late. Finding it more difficult than she thought to shake her father’s suspicions and his endless questions about where she was going and who she was meeting at this party, she had arrived at Garden Harbor. Stopping first at a gas station between here and Willow Reed, Kaya had quickly changed out of the t-shirt and jeans her Dad had ‘approved’ into a short, white dress with a plunging neckline that the saleswoman assured her would turn heads.

But unfortunately, thanks to her pit stop, she was thirty minutes late and out of breath only to find that Caleb was nowhere in sight. “Caleb?” she tried again only to be answered by the silence once more. Kaya sighed and turned back towards the direction she came. “Shit,” she cussed under her breath, believing she’d missed him and slowly started up the path.

“You kiss your mate with that mouth?”

“Caleb!” she turned to watch him step from behind a tree, rose in hand and a smile on his face. “I do that and, hopefully, a lot more,” she beamed and rushed forward.

He caught her as she jumped into his arms and held her close. Kaya clutched Caleb’s head and pressed her lips to his. The corners of his mouth rose as he smiled against her lips before hungrily taking the lead. Brushing his tongue against her lips, Kaya felt his teeth rake them ever so slowly and seductively until an involuntary sigh gave him what he was seeking.

Smoothly his tongue caressed both her lips before entering her mouth and taking her breath away. She felt her body enter a state of hunger and craved more. Caleb’s hands moved skillfully on her waist, kneading her soft flesh beneath his warm palms while his body pressed into her; his need revealing through the jeans he wore. Hiking her leg, Kaya wrapped it around his hip and he felt her grinding herself against his erection, creating a new wave of frenzied movement.

In one swift step he had her pushed against the tree behind him with both of her legs around his back as his tongue bathed the long column of her neck. Kaya couldn’t help but moan as he playfully nipped at her throat, sucking the skin into his mouth and peppering kisses along her collarbone. Caleb kissed a fiery path down her neck while his hands continued roaming the delicious curves of her beautiful body. She moaned as she felt the bulge in his pants press firmly between her legs. But, regrettably, the act was enough to jolt Caleb back to his senses and he reluctantly lowered her back to the ground, pulling at his crotch to make room for his swollen need.

Kaya smiled to herself, watching him wrestle with the denim material before finally finding a comfortable position. “I thought I’d missed my chance to see you.”

“No. Never. I was prepared to wait all night if I had to,” he smiled with his confession. “Was it hard getting away?”

“Kinda. My Dad gave me the 3rd degree before finally allowing me a few hours to spend with friends.”

“Friends?”

“I may have sorta told him I was going to a party at a friend’s house,” Caleb’s brow rose and a smirk turned his lips as he stared down at her. “What? I couldn’t very well tell him I was coming to make out with a wild wolf, a Savage at that, and only a hop, skip and jump away from Shadowvale. He’d have a coronary, come back to life, kill me and have another coronary.”

“Well, I certainly wouldn’t want that,” he growled and leaned forward, consuming her mouth in a quick, hard kiss. At least he intended for it to be quick. Having her hot body again pressed against him, Caleb wrapped an arm around her waist and claimed her lips in a more passionate and zealous embrace.

Kaya’s hands slipped up his chest, and she slowly counted down from three before lightly pushing against him and gaining barely an inch of space between them. “Caleb, what are we doing?” she asked feebly and a little breathless.

“It’s called ‘kissing’. You need an instruction manual? Better yet, I’d much prefer giving you private one-on-one lessons,” he moaned, pulling her back into him again.

Kaya wrenched her head away before she let herself get lost again. Twisting her body, she successfully freed herself from his grasp and straightened out imaginary wrinkles in her dress, allowing her time to collect herself. Caleb’s contact was like a whirlwind of emotions, sucking her up into a funnel of sensation that she felt wholly consumed by until she couldn’t tell which way was up anymore. And what was worse, he knew exactly what he was doing and the effect it had on her. “What’s wrong?”

“I don’t know,” she sighed and leaned back against the tree. “This. This whole thing just seems a little…I mean why should we be forced to sneak around? We’re not doing anything wrong.”

“You’re right, we’re not. But you know as well as I do that I can’t just march up to your front door and ask your dad for permission to see you. Like you said, he’d flip out. Savages aren’t known for being the most cuddly wolves. Add that to the little incident last month and well…we’re talking a battle of epic proportions.”

“I guess,” she sighed and rested against him as he moved closer.

“But, that will all change. Once you’ve transitioned and your parents can clearly see what your wolf wants like we do, they’ll understand. This was meant to be.”

“Yeah,” she giggled as his lips tickled her neck and his hand slowly drew circles on her belly. “I suppose you’re right.”

“Of course I am.” Caleb stepped away, moving behind a tree to grab the bag he’d brought with him. Kaya’s lips turned up into a smile as he began spreading the items out around them. Rolling out a checkerboard picnic blanket beside the water, he strategically placed pillows, champagne, and a strawberry dessert he confessed he’d made himself. “You’re legally able to drink right?” he teased and poured two glasses of bubbly.

“Ha-ha, you’re very funny. I may not be a gazillion years old but I won’t get arrested for having a glass of champagne,” she smiled and rolled onto her stomach beside him. “How old are you anyway?”

She watched his eyebrow rise curiously before a dashing, debonair smile crossed his face and he leaned back beside her. “I don’t know if I want to tell you.”

“What? Why not?”

“Because you might think it’s weird.”

“Weird? Why would I think it’s weird?”

“Uh…because I’m old; really old.”

“Are you older than my Dad?”

“See, just the idea that you’d ask that is why I don’t want to tell you.”

“Caleb! You’re being silly! I don’t care if you’re 200 or 500, we’re wolves, that sort of thing just isn’t weird. I just happen to only be a few decades old instead of a few centuries. Now, stop messing around. Tell me. Please?” she pouted her lips and gave him the saddest puppy dog eyes she could muster.

“Alright, but you gotta promise me you won’t laugh.”

“I promise!”

“Cross your heart?”

“Cross my heart!” He grinned at the childlike innocence on her face and leaned forward, kissing her lightly on the lips before sighing and pulling away.

“I’m 116.”

“Holy shit! You probably have an autographed copy of the Bible from Jesus!”

“KAYA!” She rolled in a fit of giggles. “You promised me you wouldn’t laugh!” Caleb yelled and moved on top of her, tickling his fingers along her sides as she continued writhing and squirming beneath him.

“Yeah but that was before I knew you rode a dinosaur to school!” She laughed harder and Caleb’s punishing fingers moved quicker over her most sensitive areas. Pretty soon the wriggling of her body caused another reaction and he gently growled as he leaned down to kiss her. Kaya instantly wrapped herself around him. Caleb’s knee came up between her legs, pushing them apart as he rested his weight against her. Gripping her waist tightly, he pressed his lips hard against hers allowing his teeth to rake across her bottom lip.

She released a pained groan but pushed into him instead of moving away. He claimed her mouth with his, sending a searing sensation from her lips to the meeting of her thighs. Caleb’s tongue quickly and roughly darted over hers as his fingers fanned around her hips clutching her possessively against his chest. Kaya’s heaving bosom made him moan; he could feel her nipples harden from her arousal and smiled as her fingers grasped his hair. Breaking the kiss, Kaya groaned in disappointment as Caleb’s attention was suddenly elsewhere. “What’s wrong? Why’d you stop?”

“I heard something,” he replied and slowly pulled away, focusing his ears as he moved protectively over her. From what he could see, there was nothing around them for miles. No unfamiliar scents or invisible movement. Darkness loomed in the small park. Fog settled over the ground giving the area an almost eerie feeling. Another popping sound erupted above him and his eyes turned to the sky and a large smile enveloped his face. “Look!” he motioned to the shooting star skirting across the dark sky.

Caleb settled onto the blanket beside Kaya, pulling her into his arms, they watched the light show above them, smiling as another star shot across the sky. “Wow! That’s so beautiful,” Kaya sighed and scooted closer to his side.

“Don’t forget to make a wish.”

“You believe in that sort of thing?”

“Maybe,” he replied with a cheesy smile as she peered up at him. “Hey, don’t knock it. You never know. I mean, magic exists after all.”

“True. Ok,” Kaya closed her eyes and wished on the next star that zipped over them, giggling to herself at how silly the idea was.

When she opened them she peered once more in Caleb’s direction and he gently caressed her cheek as he gazed into her eyes. “So what’d you wish for?”

“Not uh! If you believe in this stuff, then you should know better than anyone that if I tell you, it won’t come true.”

“Fine,” he sucked his teeth and playfully pouted before lightly pecking her lips. Kaya rolled away and they continued watching the sky, but the light show seemed to have stopped for the moment. Checking the time on her cellphone, Kaya gasped and quickly hopped up.

“Shit! It’s later than I thought. I gotta get home before my Dad starts looking for me!” Panicked, she frantically searched the area around them for the items she’d brought with her and began packing up.

Sadly, Caleb got to his feet and helped get the stuff put away. “I’ll get these to your car,” he sighed and freed the bags from her hand as she continued neatly rolling the picnic blanket. She watched him disappear around the corner with a smile on her face before a sudden ache throbbed in her gut.

Kaya groaned and fell forward to the ground. Clutching her belly tightly she felt the bones in her sternum break and the most agonizing pain in her life. Kaya screamed bloody murder as she rolled to her back in the soft grass, her eyes hysterically blinking at the stars she was watching just moments earlier. In an instant Caleb was at her side, his frightened breath rolling warmly over her face as he knelt beside her. “Caleb…” she grunted before another violent spasm gripped her body making her scream even louder, the high-pitched shriek set off the alarm on her car.

“It’s happening! You’re transitioning!” he eagerly replied and scooped her up from the ground. “I have to get you home!” He rushed her towards her car and laid her carefully in the backseat. Strapping her in as best he could, Caleb hopped behind the wheel of Kaya’s Cadillac and burned rubber down the street towards Willow Reed.

  1. Aww...what a cute date. It's sad they have to sneak around, but they don't have much choice. Lobo would rather his child never date I think. It's gotta be something with dads thinking their girls need to remain virgins for life. Bet if Ky was a boy he'd been singing a different tune.

Either way this isn't going to be the meeting Caleb had hoped for with her father. Charging in there with a transitioning Ky. Boy oh boy talk about a tense moment. :(

    1. Caleb is quite the romantic. It's funny, that's something Charlie teased him about. But he enjoys the arts and it comes across as sentimental and sweet. Lobo is like every red blooded father. He will encourage his son to bed as many women as possible but expect his daughter to be a saint until she dies. It's a seriously crazy double standard.

Caleb is in for a rude awakening. He would have much preferred keeping their relationship a secret until after her transition but unfortunately she decided to change on their night out LOL! Lobo will not be pleased :)

      Thank you for reading :)
